Welcome to our new teacher and director for the 2020-2021 school year, Amanda Molitor! CHUM Co-op Preschool is proud to offer a highly qualified teacher working directly with you and your child in the classroom. Through her experience, dedication, and innovative teaching ideas, Amanda creates an exceptional learning environment.
Amanda has her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Western Michigan University with minors in Early Childhood Education and English. She has also completed all of her coursework toward her master's degree in Special Education at WMU with a focus on Learning Disabilities. She taught kindergarten and young fives in public schools for five years and coached cheerleading and gymnastics for many years before deciding to stay at home with her two daughters. Both of her daughters went to CHUM and Amanda attended a similar co-op preschool as a child. She is very eager to get back into the classroom and work closely with students and their families to ensure a positive first learning experience for all children.
